In 2023 the 53rd National Stamp Fair, moved from spring to autumn. It was held in the first week of October, from Thursday 5 to Sunday 7; change of dates, but not location, as always in the splendid Madrid Plaza Mayor.
Correos’s philatelic department, prepared a great philatelic event, in collaboration with ANFIL and the FNMT (the Spanish mint). The theme chosen for 2023 was ‘Madrid Sustainable City’.
The Fair was set up in a large pavilion, opposite the Casa de la Panadería, with an identical layout to the 2022 event (see article, published in VARIABLE 65). The commercial stands were arranged in rows along the sides of the pavilion, whereas the institutions were placed in the center. These were occupied by Correos, ANFIL, FNMT, as well as an area set aside for presentations and lectures.
