The Isle of Man Post Office’s (IOMPO) 2025 Christmas stamp collection is the result of an exciting collaboration with students and alumni from the Creative Media department at University College Isle of Man (UCM). This leading educational institution is celebrating two milestones in 2025: the 145th anniversary of its foundation as the Douglas School of Art in 1880, and the 50th anniversary of the Homefield Road campus.
The ‘Crank Up Christmas’ series comprises six designs by ten students, each illustrating a traditional custom or festive scene linked to the island’s unique heritage.
As in previous years, the Christmas collection comprises a set of six ‘traditional’ stamps (right), a first-day cover, a presentation pack (picture at the beginning of the article) and booklets of self-adhesive stamps.
Furthermore, as far as our field of study is concerned, the series has also been issued in the form of variable value stamps.
