Åland Post’s 2026 annual series of variable value stamp labels, the ninth, is dedicated to showcasing the four most common and representative tree species of the archipelago.
The series comprises four wonderful botanical illustrations by the Finnish graphic designer Marie Laaksonen, featuring details of the trees, their leaves and their fruits. They are the european spruce (Picea abies), the scots pine (Pinus sylvestris), the white birch (Betula pubescens) and the pedunculate oak (Quercus robur).
