The Correos philatelic service has announced the two new ATM issues to be released at the 54th National Stamp Fair in Madrid being held from May 30th to June 2nd 2024.
One of the designs is dedicated to the architect Antonio Palacios, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of his birth. The issue is illustrated with an image of the Hotel Florida in Madrid – replaced in 1964 by a new building.
The second design is dedicated to the writer Miguel de Cervantes. The composition includes an image of the statue in the Biblioteca Nacional de España in Madrid
