As with the EXFILNA exhibition in Irún (see article, published in VARIABLE 66), the Correos philatelic service took advantage of the visit to Teruel to make a special release of two of the ATM designs. Undoubtedly, an interesting initiative thus extending this philatelic event and deriving promotional advertising beyond the city of Teruel.
Naturally the design depicting the Mora de Rubielos castle was officially released in this town, declared an Historic Site and about 40 kilometres southeast of Teruel. As was done the year before in Hondarribia next to the ‘Mariñel’ ship (see article and VARIABLE 66), Correos considered holding the presentation in the town hall with local representatives in attendance, or even in the castle itself, but in the end it was held in the small local Correos post office.
