FRANCE. The vignettes LISA at Mondial du Timbre – PARIS-PHILEX 2026

The Paris-Philex 2026 was bound to be special. One hundred years ago, on June 18th 1926, representatives from six European countries founded the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) at the former Hôtel des Ingénieurs Civils in Paris.

A few years after the end of the First World War, the Federation was founded with the aim of promoting and organising stamp collecting in all its forms. One hundred years on, the FIP brings together 90 national federations and continues to pursue the same objectives.

Almost coinciding with this important anniversary, the Paris-Philex 2026 / Mondial du Timbre took place from June Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th in one of the large halls of the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles, in south-west Paris.

This major biennial event is organised by La Poste, through Philaposte, in collaboration with Adphile (Association pour le développement de la philatélie), the FFAP (Fédération Française des Associations Philatéliques) and the CNEP (Chambre syndicale française des Négociants et Experts en Philatélie).
