New event of the annual autumn stamp fair in Paris, organised by the CNEP – the Chambre syndicale française des Négociants et Experts en Philatélie.

Although there had been rumours in 2024 that the Salon Philatélique d’Automne might move to another venue on the outskirts of the capital, with a less expensive rent and more convenient access, the 2025 event was once again held at its usual venue this since 1988, at the Espace Champerret, in north-west Paris.
You can read articles on all the Salons d’Automne held since 2005 on our previous website, the VARIABLE publications, and on this particular website since 2023.
In the event the Salon d’Automne continues to be held every year, but with fewer and fewer visitors. Philaposte supports it with advance releases of stamps and exclusive, limited-run issues, which only manages to attract visitors on the morning of the first day. Attendance on the remaining days is very low, and at times the Salon seems deserted. The photographs below, for example, were taken on Saturday afternoon.
