Every year in addition to its permanent collection the Paris Musée de La Poste stages a temporary exhibition over several months related to some aspect of postal history. All these exhibitions are accompanied by the publication of several commemorative products sold exclusively in the museum shop, such as catalogues, postcards, … and a vignette LISA.

On our previous website you can read articles on the previous temporary exhibitions and the LISA issues produced for the Musée de La Poste; and on this page, the most recent ones, ‘Nouvelles du Paradis’ (2023) & ‘Marathon, la course du messager’ (2024).

The 2025 temporary exhibition “La fabrique du Temps” sets out on an exploration of time via postal history and contemporary art. It is a sensory and philosophical journey into our relationship with time; how we have perceived and managed time over the centuries, through the medium of 150 historical pieces and works of art.
The exhibition opened by invitation on Tuesday March 25th 2025. The museum is closed every Tuesday, so the first day of public access was Wednesday March 26th. It will remain open to the public for some seven months, until Monday November 3rd.
The new vignette LISA was available at the IER NABANCO kiosk in the museum’s boutique from March 26th. Unlike previous issues, the museum produced a special illustrated date postmark for this issue which was a pleasant surprise for collectors.

The Musée de La Poste also produced a personalised folder or “collector’s pack” containing eight self-adhesive stamps, and a postcard depicting the exhibition poster.

Neither Philaposte nor the Musée de La Poste itself has provided any details on the designer of this issue, and we only know about the print run, 10,000 labels.

The IER NABANCO kiosk installed in the Boutique du Musée works autonomously, i.e. is not connected to the La Poste postal network, and is permanently programmed with the special ‘philatelic software’. Consequently it issues variable value stamps without the Datamatrix code. In 2025, the two basic values are DD 1.39 EUR, domestic mail “Lettre Verte”, and IP 2.10 EUR for international mail. The kiosk does not allow customers to obtain stamps below the programmed minimum value of 0.15€.

The museum does not have a post office, so historically the kiosk is not able to print stamps for tracked mail or “SUIVI”. However, following a software modification in early 2025, the machine is now able to print stamps for registered mail with a new configuration.
The stamps include the mail type (LETTRE RECOMMANDÉE R1 AR in the image), the registration code, the face value, a Datamatrix code, and the mailing deadline, “À poster jusqu’au 26/04/25”, one month from the stamp printing date.
