Correios de Portugal’s first series of variable value stamps in 2026, ‘Uma Carta não se apaga…’, which can be translated as ‘A letter never fades’ or ‘A letter can not be erased’, highlights the sentimental value of the ‘traditional’ letter, its enduring nature and, by extension, the postman’s work, in contrast to the use of new communication technologies.
It will be available at the few remaining Newvision postal kiosks from July 27th 2026.
