In 2025 Singapore Post continues its annual series of SAM’s kiosk variable value stamps dedicated to the animals in the Zodiac series of the Chinese calendar.
The sixth design of this special series, with very small print runs and only available in a few machines for a few days, is dedicated to the Year of the Snake.
Following on from the initial introductory design (see article, published in VARIABLE 51), further issues were released in 2020 dedicated to the Year of the Rat (article and VARIABLE 56), in 2021 the Year of the Ox (article and VARIABLE 60), in 2022 the Year of the Tiger (article and VARIABLE 64), in 2023 the Year of the Rabbit (article), & in 2024 the Year of the Dragon (article).
