In a somewhat special year, with the “Post & Go” kiosk being out of service for months, the Gibraltar Philatelic Bureau has announced the two issues scheduled for 2025, which include the usual Chinese Zodiac design and the EUROPA series.
With no printing equipment in Gibraltar, all the strips of variable value stamps have been printed at the same time using a machine outside the territory, and only with the code GI04. Both issues were also released for sale on the same date, July 4th.
It is not known at this stage if/when the public kiosk will be back in service and therefore whether these issues will also be available with the GI05 code and the permanent “Philatelic HQ” imprint.
